A native of Wales, Dr. Sayers first came to America after earning a college scholarship to study and play soccer here in the states. Since then, Adam has devoted his career to the sport that his so dearly loves. Dr. Sayers would go on to coach the ETSU women’s soccer program before stepping down in 2019 as the program’s all-time winningest coach. Outside of his teaching duties, Dr. Sayers also works as a Network Sports Scientist for the U.S. Soccer Federation. The former soccer player, coach, accomplished educator, historian and life-long fan, stops in to WBH Radio to help educate us on the “beautiful game” and get us ready for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
