The hero firefighter then talks joining the FDNY basketball team, the changes that have been made under his stewardship and looks ahead to FDNY's May 18th matchup against My City. My City features former City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) basketball players. Beyond our playing days, our alumni have gone on to contribute to the city in various ways, taking on careers as public servants, educators, entrepreneurs, and more. Nonetheless, our love for the game of basketball has never dissipated. My City provides us with an opportunity to both reconnect with the sport we love and strengthen relationships within the alumni network. This spring My City will set out on a barnstorming tour and play a series of exhibition games against teams we believe share our same values of promoting healthy living, fair competition and community service.
