WCS CHILE's video: Protecting Biodiversity in Tierra Del Fuego with the M30T Wildlife Conservation Society Chile

@Protecting Biodiversity in Tierra Del Fuego with the M30T | Wildlife Conservation Society Chile
Join us as we explore the unique and biodiverse region of Tierra del Fuego, located at the southern end of Patagonia. Karukinka Park, a private conservation area of 300,000 hectares located in Tierra del Fuego, is critical for environmental sustainability, and the Wildlife Conservation Society Chile (WCS) has been working for more than 17 years to protect key species and ecosystems in the area. WCS Chile recently got their hands on a M30T and are using it to enhance their environmental monitoring efforts in Tierra del Fuego. The region's extreme weather conditions, including heavy rain, high winds, and snow, make conservation efforts challenging. However, with the M30T's IP55 rating and resilience to freezing temperatures, the drone has been able to withstand the elements and help the WCS Chile protect the park and its surrounding areas from threats such as fire and invasive species, as well as document environmental changes and invasive species. With the use of drones, the WCS Chile has been able to scale and elevate their conservation efforts in the region, contributing to the fight against global warming and preserving the unique and biodiverse ecosystem of Tierra del Fuego.
