WHATDAYMADE's video: WHATDAYMADE DIY: Pearl Perfume Bottle Marbled Bowl Kitty Beanie

The holiday seasons have finally arrived! I am excited to share with you some pretty awesome and simple DIYs you can make for yourself or even as a gift for a special someone! The first one is the pearl perfume bottle. This idea came across to me when I have finally used up all of my favorite perfumes and did not want to throw away any of the decorative bottles. I have a ton of pearls and began filling each bottle with them. I now use them for decor around my room, some are on top of my dresser and shelf. The second project is the marbled bowl. I have seen this done on pinterest using a coffee mug. So why not do it on a bowl, where you can also store your rings, earrings, or even keys! This took me a couple tries at first, but the solution was simple, you must have a deep plastic tub filled with warm water that is simply from your faucet, make sure your nail polish isn't really old, and work in a fast pace because it does dry into a film, if left too long it will create lumps on your bowl!. Overall I love how it turned out! I actually want to make several of these so I can stack them, like those teacup/plate jewelry holder thingys! The final project is the cat ear "Kitty Beanie". My original fuzzy beanie one is from H&M and I got it for about $10. I have been getting a lot of compliments on it, so I decided to make another one out of my old sweater. Now my niece has been asking me to make her one so this was perfect for her! The jewel necklace I used to decorate the beanie was from Forever21. I have had that necklace for three years and I have never worn it at all! So I have found a good use for it. All three projects are super easy. If you do not want to spend a whole lot, these would be great to make because you can customize everything!
