WTA's video: Thomas Friends - So Long - Music Video

@Thomas & Friends - So Long - Music Video
Seems appropriate considering the news of Edward and Henry being reduced to minor characters. There is literally no way one could get rid of Edward. Edward was the very first character introduced in the Railway Series, meaning HE started the rails to success of the franchise. And he gets repayed by getting the boot. Mattel has quite the balls to kill of the one that started it all. Henry. I do admit I can't think of ways to defend him, but there's something about him that I love. He's special; an engine that almost got killed off during the Railway Series era, and now that has been done. I hope Mattel and Awdry are happy; I say that because Awdry himself never seemed to like him. He allows Thomas and Percy to like the most absurd things, but when Henry likes the forest, that is a big nono? That episode was beautiful, and Awdry calls it out. He was willing to write Henry out of the series. That's what happened to his model of Henry anyways. Hopefully, the team realizes that this is a bad idea. Replacing them with female engines isn't a bad idea, but knowing their history with female engines, they won't utilize Nia and Rebecca to their full potential. Why create two characters with incredibly UGLY designs and liveries and not utilize old ones? Take Rosie for example. She is shown to be independent and stand no nonsense in Season 21, so what's that to just being smart about zebras like Miss Nia? If they REALLY had to replace Henry, and if the replacement HAD to be yellow, then this was a missed opportunity to bring Molly to the CGI series. I quite like Molly's design, unlike Rebecca over here. Though, I'd prefer it if they kept Ed and Hen house in the main fleet. "So Long" is owned by Disney. Cause it's a Winnie the Pooh song. Thomas & Friends as a whole is owned by Mattel/HiT Entertainment, probably soon to be Hasbro.
