I wanted to build a custom AR platform for medium to long range accuracy but at the same time try to keep it as light as possible. These are the parts i used for that purpose and all the weights on all of them. I used a Seekins Upper and lower, A faxon Barrel, Brigand Arms Carbon Fiber Handguard, Patriot three pound Trigger, a Salient Arms Bolt and Carrier and a bunch of other light weight components to make this as light as I could.
