WWFMy's video: Sentencing Guidelines for Wildlife Crimes in Sarawak launched

Courts in Sarawak now has a comprehensive sentencing guideline for wildlife crimes with the launch of the Sentencing Guidelines for Wildlife Crimes in Sarawak by the Right Honourable Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak Tan Sri Dato' Abang Iskandar bin Abang Hashim in Kuching on 16 June 2022. This video explains the objectives of the guidelines and collaborative journey taken by WWF-Malaysia and the Court, Sarawak State Attorney-General Chambers and Sarawak Forestry Corporation. The Sentencing Guidelines for Wildlife Crimes in Sarawak is an initiative by the Sarawak High Court through its Sarawak Working Group on Environment (SWGE) which started in 2020 with technical support from WWF-Malaysia.
