Walk Out Network's video: Tragedy For You The Living Death Show Ep 163 feat Colin Crandall

@Tragedy For You | The Living Death Show, Ep. 163 feat. Colin Crandall
Here's hoping this is as dark as it ever gets on TLDS. Colin Crandall of the MMA Power Hour joins the panel as we discuss a long list of unhappy and upsetting recent events in the sport. Front and center was the shocking, tragic passing of 18-year-old Victoria Lee, one of the most difficult conversations we've had on the show. From there, it's on to Dana White's NYE altercation with his wife and the probable consequences (or lack thereof), former MMA star Phil Baroni's arrest for homicide, and the domestic violence charges leveled at UFC veteran and longtime journeyman Cain Carrizosa. After giving those stories their due, there is a certain amount of fun, of course, but buckle in for a sometimes somber, sometimes angry ride for the first little while. 0:00 Welcome 2:16 Jay's Stat of the Week: infinity ---------- VICTORIA LEE (2004-2022) 4:51 Victoria Lee, undefeated MMA prospect and younger sister of One Championship stars Christian and Angela Lee, died on Dec. 26 at age 18. While no cause of death was given, the language of Angela's announcement was chillingly suggestive. The panel spends time talking about this completely heartbreaking story. To the Lee family, our deepest condolences and may her memory be a blessing. ---------- DANA WHITE SLAPPING INCIDENT 18:00 The Dana White slapping video did not appear until two days after the incident, at which point a damage control news story and ridiculously softball interview with White came out on TMZ. How did the coverup/attempted spin happen? 37:04 The silence from White's business partners has been deafening, as ESPN, Disney and the UFC have either deflected or ignored the incident. White himself was back to eating weird food on camera by Friday. Do they expect this will simply go away, and if they're right, what message does that send? A comparison is made to the Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars incident. 58:53 Dana White's Power Slap League had its launch postponed, but not cancelled, in the wake of Dana's actual power slapping. Will this affect the new venture, and does it change how you feel about competitive slapping as a sport? Tony Lopez references and dunking on a horrible idea. ---------- JAKE PAUL & PFL 1:12:26 Jake Paul plans to buy a minority stake in Professional Fighters League and bring some form of boxing-MMA-crossover spectacle to the Smartcage. Is this good for PFL? Is it good for our entertainment? What form will it even take? Opinions fly, along with...another Tony Lopez reference! ---------- QUICK HITS 1:29:47 Tatiana Suarez's flyweight return; Daniel Cormier's buddy boosting; A.J. McKee's sartorial investments; Henry Cejudo vs. Aljamain Sterling ---------- I'M NOT SURPRISED, MISTER FALCONS 1:35:10 [Jay] Gastelum out, Strickland in 1:39:23 [Colin] Khabib walks away from coaching 1:43:02 [Ben] Bryce Mitchell's FW hot take 1:44:52 [Ant] Bolsonaro...Bolsonaldo?
