This video is from a recent evening I spent at Soi Cowboy Bangkok, one of the most popular red light districts in Thailand. Patpong is probably the most famous, but Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are definitely more popular. Some of the best go-go bars in Soi Cowboy are Spice Girls, Suzie Wongs, Shark, The Dollhouse… but just around the corner on Sukhumvit Soi 23 is my favorite: Crazy House. Fully naked dancers with many beautiful girls. It usually gets very crowded, but you’ll have great fun. It’s hard not to have fun in any bar really. Just depends what you are into. Some bars have a mix of girls and ladyboys. Soi Cowboy has just one dedicated ladyboy bar called Cockatoo. Generally, drink prices are around the 160 baht mark. Places like Sahara agogo are 200 baht. 250 baht for a lady drink. Bar fines range from 600 baht to 1000. Many tourists, male and female stroll up and down the Soi, just curious to see what goes on. It’s very safe and police are always around. So you can go and relax over a beer and people watch. You won’t be harassed or pressured to do anything unless you want to.
