Soi 7 and Soi 8 Pattaya, Thailand – Walk around at night. These 2 famous streets in Central Pattaya run parallel to each other, between Beach Road and Second Road. It’s a very lively area, full of beer bars and a few go-go clubs. Location wise it’s ideal as you are close to everything. There are good hotels and accommodation in the area and has plenty of Mini Marts and restaurants. Only 100 meters from Central Festival shopping mall. Jump on a baht bus (10 baht) and you are in Walking Street in no time or Soi 6 in the other direction if you are too lazy to walk for a few minutes! Mototaxis everywhere too. In this vlog, I walk down Second Road and have a look into some of the many beer bars along the way to Soi 7. It’s hard to say how many beer bars there are in Pattaya, but several resources say around 2500! They are literally everywhere and I love exploring them! They are cheaper than go-go bars – both for drink and for girls. A beer costs around 45 baht to 60 baht ($1.35 to $1.80). The girls in the beer bars can be bar-fined for around 200 baht to 500 baht ($6 to $15), but she doesn’t have to go with you if she doesn’t want to. The decision is up to her. With her, you negotiate a price for ‘short time’ or ‘long time’. Short time is usually 1000 to 2000 baht ($30 to $60) and long time can be up to 4500 baht ($135). It’s also fun to just go to the beer bars and have a drink and chat to the girls and play bar games like Connect 4 or Jenga. There are some ladyboys mixed in with the girls in some of the bars. There are also ladyboy only bars. I find the ladyboys less aggressive around this area for some reason. You will also find a few go-go clubs, like Silver Star 2 on Soi 7 and Sexy Girls agogo on Soi 8. Shooters and Pandora on Soi 7 are the biggest bars in the area. I really like Pandora bar a lot. Rosie O’Grady’s Irish pub and Pig n Whistle are beside each other on Soi 7 and do good food. The Sailor Bar on Soi 8 does good food also, at good prices. You can have several great nights out in this area and not have to go anywhere else in Pattaya. Bars start to get busy around 5 or 6pm when most of the girls start to show up for work, but there’s plenty of daytime action too. Thanks for watching.
