As if war, terrorism and poverty weren't bad enough — Afghanistan is also one of the most corrupt nations on Earth, according to a new survey by the watchdog group Transparency International. Bribes, fraud and officials on the take have undermined almost every aspect of Afghan society — including, in some cases, the local police. The police work closely with American troops, but the relationship is often uneasy, as we see in this video report by Carmen Gentile.
