WayForward's video: Shantae Half Genie Hero - E3 2015 Trailer

Shantae embarks on a bold new adventure! The fourth game in the esteemed Shantae series, Half-Genie Hero marks the first cross-platform HD outing for the hair-whipping belly dancing half-genie! Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a celebration of 2D adventure-style platformers by game developer WayForward, makers of Ducktales Remastered, Contra 4, and Mighty Switch Force. The game features lush hand-drawn animation, colorful characters, classic gameplay, rockin' tunes, and plenty of the outlandish humor the series is known for. This teaser video highlights brand new scenes from the "E3 2015 Backer Build", which was distributed as a reward to Early Access Backers of the game's crowdfunding campaign. Thanks to overwhelming fan support, the final product will feature multiple game modes featuring characters from the Shantae universe! Play as the brain-crazed zombie Rottytops, the bird trainer Sky, the bumbling warrior Bolo, and the nefarious pirate Risky Boots. The game is currently in development, release date and ratings pending.
