Starting in Echuca, we followed the Murray up to Mildura before crossing into New South Wales and heading north to Broken Hill. Mungo National Park, Kinchega National Park and Mutawintji were all on the agenda before reaching Cameron Corner. Standing at the point where three states meet, we had under two weeks to reach Sydney. Pointing East we wound our way through White Cliffs, picked up the Darling River Run to Bourke and found ourselves in awe of the weird and wonderful world of Lightning Ridge.
