The following lesson is a printing lesson that uses koosh balls to print chicks for a spring lesson. You can find koosh balls at any dollar store in the children's section. This lesson is appropriate for preschool children as young as two and uses tempera paint. As a two-year-old early childhood educator, I realize how difficult it is to find art lessons that are interesting and developmentally appropriate for this age group. I wanted to share more of the work that I have been doing with my preschool class as a way to provide other teachers, parents, or babysitters with ideas.
