This is a lesson using simple shapes to create a cityscape. The student will use lines, rectangles, squares, and circles to create an evening picture in chalk pastel on black paper. Chalk can also be substituted but will not have the variety or boldness of color. A fixative or hairspray can be used to set the picture when it is complete. *We welcome your comments, questions, and subscriptions!
