Bad Lauchstädt ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Saalekreis, Sachsen-Anhalt, Deutschland, 13 km südwestlich von Halle. Einwohner (2005) 4933. Es gibt eine evangelische Kirche, ein Theater, ein Kurbad und mehrere Bildungseinrichtungen, darunter eine landwirtschaftliche Schule angegliedert an die Universität Halle. Seine Branchenschwerpunkte sind Mälzereien, Essig-Herstellung und Brauereien. Lauchstädt war ein beliebter Badeort im 18. Jahrhundert, den Herzögen von Sachsen-Merseburg oft damit ihre Sommerresidenz. Von 1789 bis 1811 gastierte am Weimarer Hof eine Theatergruppe und präsentierte hier Stücke von Schiller und Goethe, eine Attraktion, die wesentlich zum Wohlbefinden der Stadt beigetragen hat. Im Januar 2008 wurden die Gemeinden Bad Lauchstädt der ehemaligen Gemeinden Schafstädt, Delitz am Berge und Klobikau eingemeindet.
