Love Fest of 2018, was a FREE collaborative event that took place on Saturday, January 20, 2018 @San Bernardino Valley College. Through live music, youth performances, interactions with clinicians from the community and workshops geared towards shining a light on the importance of mental health; Love Fest 2018 brought awareness to the accessibility of counseling for the youth and families of the Inland Empire & sought to eradicate the stigma attached to seeking counseling in our community. *Ultimately we desired to inspire the attendees to LIVE and not just EXIST, by creating their own tomorrows. *Bring awareness to mental health for students ages 13-18, as well as their parents. *Start a dialogue about mental health in the community. *Teach students to advocate for themselves and one another, by seeking counseling for themselves and encouraging their peers to seek counseling as well. *Expose students to counseling as a viable and tangible tool.
