Whacky Talky's video: The School we always wished for LMT public School

"Don't educate a child to be rich. Educate a Child to be happy. so that when he grows up, he will learn the value of the thing, not the price" Founded on 20th july 2016 by the Taye family of Dimow, LMT public school has over 300 students coming from a radius of 18kms upto 5th standard with plans of extension soon. The school focuses mainly on the happiness factor of the students, in what they love doing in order to express themselves apart from the mandatory education system, in many fields such as art, craft, music, yoga in the form of workshops or activities. This encourages the kids to face the world that is changing so fast which is why the school has seen a rapid increase in the number of students since its inception even though Dimow has 4 other private schools and a govt school. People from all over the world can come volunteer for the school and kukuli’s organic garden, which is also run by the Taye family in exchange for food and stay. These opens more exposure to the students from all around the world. While the volunteers need to stay for a minimum two weeks during the volunteering program, They are provided with food and stay in traditional bamboo huts while also finding peace in the lush green mountains that surrounds Dimow town and learn about 10 different communities that resides there, the techniques that are used in farming by these tribes, have classes on traditional pottery, bakery, blacksmith, and not the least enjoy the scenic beauty of the flora and fauna the place has to offer. Till now the school has had 23 different volunteers from 11 different countries and different states from India as well teaching the students varieties of activities like yoga, gardening, science, music, camping necessities etc. As they say, they came here as volunteers, but leave as a family.
