@Is Incense Sticks allowed to Burn in Mosque and Eid Gah عدl گاہ - What & How
It is permissible to use fragrant smell in the body, in the house, and in mosques, as the Prophet (SAW) ordered to use fragrant smell on the body, and on Friday, as well as Friday, ordered the mosque to be exhausted. Incense Sticks a type of perfume, there is no restriction to burn it in the mosque. Harmony of Muslims feels that they use non-Muslims frequently for their goddesses. In non-Muslim pooja, flowers, plate, thread, etc too often, but they will not be worshiped without water, so will we leave the use of water? No, whatever is permissible, it is not permissible to use it illegally, it will be lawful. Incense sticks have no special or unique Islamic significance other than it is a means of fragrance and a sign of cleanliness. In this respect, its use is permissible. In order to express the high honour, dignity, excellence, and superiority of the Awliya, it is permissible to place a coloured cloth on their graves, place flowers, plants or to light candles near their graves. This is according to the books Radd al-Muhtar, Fatawa-e-‘Alamgiri, al-Hadiqah al-Nadiyyah. Most scholars agree that the preferred practice at graves is prayer (Du’a), salutations to them and Quranic recitation. The placing of flowers and plants is also derived from the following Hadith recorded by Imam Bukhari (Book of Ablution, Chapter; carelessness in urine is a major sin, Hadith no. 209); Hadrat Ibn-e-‘Abbas reported: the Holy Prophet went into a garden from the gardens of al-Madinah al-Munawwarah or Makkah al-Mukarramah, and (all of a sudden) he heard the voice of two men who were being punished in their graves. The Holy Prophet said, “Both of them are being punished but not because of any thing major.” Then he said, “Yes” (in the sight of Allah it is a major thing); one of them did not abstain himself from urine and the other used to tale-bear. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then placed a palm twig on each of the graves. The Companions asked why he did this. He replied that ‘perhaps their punishment will be lessened until the twig does not wither or dry. ‘ From this Hadith we can deduce several points: fresh green leaves, branches or flowers on the grave has been proven from the Hadith, as the deceased find peace and tranqulity because of the tasbeeh (Glorifying Allah the Most Glorified) done by flowers and plants. Messenger of Allah also knows the cure for every sin. This is why he placed green branches on each of the graves, so as to reduce the punishment. is no obstacle to the vision of the Messenger of Allah to the extent that he was observing the punishment that was taking place beneath the layers of this earth. Messenger of Allah observes all the actions of his Ummah, whether done in open or in secret; what one was doing before, and what he is doing now. This is why the Messenger of Allah stated that one of the two was tale-bearing and the other did not abstain from urine droplets falling on his clothes.
