The Brown Barbet has a huge strong beak with which it can peck into hard wood to make nest holes. In this video, it uses this beak to fetch large Ficus and other fruits for its growing chicks within the nest hole. The food foraging trips are so frequent that the poor birds get tired from their summer-time hot weather activity.
