Will McNicol's video: Old Path White Clouds - a commissioned work with Free TAB

Hope you enjoy! The piece is inspired by a text within a biography of Buddha, called 'Old Path White Clouds'. Within the passage Guy shared with me were some wonderful phrases decribing a piece of flute music Buddha played which were key to the creation of this piece: 'as delicate as a thin strand of smoke' and how it 'transformed into a thousand-petaled lotus'. That, a meditative quality and a request for cascading melodies with a lot of natural resonance all went into the pot, I gave it a stir, and this is what came out!
