Women and Children First is the third studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1980. It continues the trends laid out on the first two albums, relying on the vocals of David Lee Roth and the guitar playing of Eddie Van Halen. The album also featured Van Halen's longest song at the time, "Fools", which was almost two minutes longer than past record holder "DOA" and kept the record until eight years later, with "Cabo Wabo" on OU812, at over seven minutes long.
