You'll never forget your first approach to the Lofoten Islands. The islands' tall, craggy profiles stand against the sky like some spiky sea dragon. The beauty of this place is simply staggering. First time on my own- renting a vehicle around Lofoten for 2 and a half weeks arriving at Tromso Airport. With so many setbacks and unpredictable weather, this expedition has proven to be quite challenging despite how prepared I was at the time.
