First time testing a two-stroke motor on my wooden sailing dinghy. Speed in the start-up throttle position was 3.5kts and 4.5kts at full throttle. However I saw as much as 5.5kts if I trimmed the bow down so that the prop starts ventilating a bit and pick up rpm.
