But, as mentioned in the video, you need to be an advanced vaulter with a good understanding of stride frequency to take advantage of it and not get hurt. Jake knows how to use it and that's why it helped him take off on and outside his top hand for the majority of his jumps, which in return allowed him to vault on a bigger pole and jump higher.
