Action from the Shakedown of the 47. Rally Bohemia 2020 at Autodrome Sosnová in Česká Lípa. The Austrian crew of Simon Wagner and Gerald Winter set the fastest time of 49.14 seconds, followed by seven times Czech champion Jan Kopecký with codriver Jan Hloušek who were two tenths slower. Filip Mareš / Radovan Bucha and Petr Semerád / Jiří Hovorka followed in third and fourth place. All of those teams are competing in the Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo (former R5). Jan Černý and Petr Černohorský were fastest non-Škoda in the VW Polo GTI R5, beating Roman Odložilík and Martin Tureček (Fabia Rally2 Evo). Finnish drivers Jari Huttunen and Mikko Lukka set the seventh time in their Hyundai i20 R5 ahead of fastest Ford drivers Erik Cais and Jindřiška Žáková.Kenneth Madsen and Morten Andreasen came home twelfth overall in their Suzuki Swift R+ as fastest non-R5.The Swedish junior drivers Dennis Rådström / Johan Johansson were fastest 2WD in the Ford Fiesta R2T19 with a time of 54.09 seconds. René Dohnal meanwhile presented the brand new Peugeot 208 Rally4 (the successor of the Peugeot 208 R2) out of classification. After some show runs in Sosnová this Friday evening, the real rally starts Saturday morning with the Staroměstská city stage, followed by 152 further competitive kilometres over two days.
