@How to remove the Hard Drive from a Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5518
In this video, I will explain how to disassemble Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5518 to remove the hard drive in order to replace it for example with an SSD. This task is rather easy and therefore suited for beginners. Use this video to replace the hard drive of your Toshiba Satellite C655D-S558. Whether you want to upgrade your storage, improve performance by switching to SSD or replace a faulty HDD, this video is for you. Before you begin You may need a Phillips head screwdriver, tweezers or needle-nose pliers, and a non-metallic prying tool. Turn off the computer. Disconnect the Ethernet or modem cable. Disconnect the power cord. Transfer the computer to a clear, flat, stable work surface over a non-carpeted floor. HP strongly recommends the use of an anti-static wrist strap and a conductive foam pad when working on the computer. Do not remove a component from its protective packaging until you are ready to install it. WARNING: Before starting, power off the computer and wait for components to cool before starting these procedures.
