Script : We’ve compiled a list of facts about social media sensations Rhett and Link, lets get into it. Rhett & Link are an Internet comedy duo consisting of Rhett McLaughlin and Charles Neal. Rhett James McLaughlin was born on October 11th,1977 in Buies Creek, North Carolina. He is the second child of Diane and Jim McLaughlin. Rhett has a brother named Cole who is three years older than Rhett. Growing up Rhett got nose bleeds when he got excited and would wet the bed as a child. He stands at 6’7 and loves to play basketball. Rhett was married in 2001 to Genevive Lane and now has two sons named Locke and Shepherd. Charles Lincoln Neal III was born on June 1st,1978 in Boone Trail, North Carolina. When he was two years old, his parents went through a divorce. His mother would later remarry her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Capps. In his junior year of college, he met Christy White at a rollerskating rink. They married in 2000 in Kinston, NC. They have three children together, Lilian Grace Neal (14), Charles Lincoln Neal IV (11), and Lando James Neal (7). Growing up Link had most of his childhood birthdays at McDonalds. Soon after graduating, Link worked for International Business Machines Corporation, where he was a co-op during his junior and senior years of college. They both met in the first grade and continued their education together all the way through college where they would study engineering. They met when they were both held inside from recess for writing profanity on their desks. At fourteen they wrote a screenplay entitled Gutless Wonders and began its film production. However, they shot only a few scenes and the film was left unfinished. In 1999, Rhett wrote "The Tragedy," which recorded in detail the events surrounding a snowboarding accident that left Link with a broken pelvis and, more notably, a month's worth of memory loss Their work has been recognized by USA Today, LA Weekly, Business Insider, and Wired. In 2016, they won a Streamy Award for Best Comedy Show.
