Let’s get into it. 2 Robert Bryson Hall II or better known as logic was born on January 22nd,1990 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. (MD) 3 Logic spent much of his youth in the West Deer Park neighborhood of the city, most of the residents lived in poverty. 4 Logic’s parents both suffered with cocaine addiction and alcoholism. 5 Logic says, “My mother was racist,”. He’s quoted saying “It’s so hard to wrap your head around that and the fact that my own mother would call me the ‘N’ word) as a child. 6 Logic witnessed his brothers produce and distribute crack cocaine to "addicts all over the block,". 7 He mentions that he accurately knows how to manufacture and produce crack cocaine. 8 He attended Gaithersburg High School only to later get expelled for skipping class and soon dropout. 9 He has referred to himself as a huge pothead when he was growing up. But now, he says that he doesn’t drink or smoke weed, but admits that will have a little wine or champagne from time to time 10 At the start of his teens, Logic met Solomon Taylor, who would become his mentor. 11 He went into his music career in his teenage years around 2009 after getting inspired by the movie Kill Bill. 12 Logic became obsessed with Hip-hop and Taylor (his mentor) would bring him CDs containing beats, just so Logic can write lyrics to them. 13 Logic would soon preform under the alias “Psychological”. He wanted a a name that described his music as challenges someone’s mind. 14 He released an unofficial mixtape titled Psychological – Logic: The Mixtape under his original stage name. 15 He would later shorten his alias to “Logic”. 16 On December 15th,2010 he released his official mixtape Young, Broke & Infamous. The mixtape was downloaded 250 thousand times on Datpiff. 17 Chris Zarou, the president of Visionary Music Group, heard the mixtape and signed Logic to the independent label. 18 Shortly after logic would drop his official second mixtape, Young Sinatra. The mixtape was praised from various publications including XXL. 19 He then released Young Sinatra: Undeniable on April 30th,2012 and this was his most personal mixtape because he discussed personal issues he faced growing up. 20 He would soon headline his first nation tour with Visionary Music group alongside Tayyib Ali. 21 in early 2013, Logic was again featured in an edition of XXL, being included as a part of the publication's annual "Top 10 Freshmen List". 22 After that Logic completed his first European tour in March 2013, and confirmed his fourth mixtape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever. 23 On April 15, it was announced that Logic had signed with Def Jam Recordings, with esteemed Def Jam Producer No I.D. serving as the executive producer of his debut album. 24 Logic would then go on to tour with Kid Cudi, fellow Def Jam Signee Big Sean, and Tyler, the Creator on "The Cud Life Tour 2013", throughout the fall of the year. 25 On October 21,2014, Logic released Under Pressure, selling over 70,000 copies in its first week. 26 In October 2015, Logic married Jessica Andrea, a singer and Logic's then girlfriend of two years. 27 Incredible True Story released on November 13, 2015, with a combined first-week sales of 135,000. 28 On July 1, 2016, Logic released a mixtape titled Bobby Tarantino. 29 His third studio album Everybody was released on May 5, 2017.
