@The Forgotten Tudor Royals Edward VI, Lady Jane Grey and Mary I of England

Lady Jane Grey (1537-1554 CE) was briefly declared Queen of England for nine days in July 1553 CE following the death of her cousin Edward VI of England (r. 1547-1553 CE). Then only 16 and never officially crowned, Lady Jane was first an unknowing and then an unwilling pawn in a political coup orchestrated by John Dudley, the Earl of Northumberland (l. 1504-1553 CE) who was, in effect, Edward VI's regent. — SUPPORT US VIA OUR PATREON— https://www.patreon.com/join/whencyclopedia — BUY OUR MERCH — https://www.worldhistory.store/ — CHAPTERS — 0:00 Introduction 0:49 The Tudor Dynasty 1:54 Edward VI of England 5:28 Lady Jane Grey 9:24 Mary I of England 14:06 Outro — WANT TO KNOW MORE? — Mary I https://www.worldhistory.org/Mary_I_of_England/ Edward VI https://www.worldhistory.org/Edward_VI_of_England/ Lady Jane Grey https://www.worldhistory.org/Lady_Jane_Grey/ — WATCH NEXT — King Henry VIII and His Six Wives https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRJhEgD6S1M Elizabethan Theatre, Queen Elizabeth I, and William Shakespeare https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K66AFyeSoYE The Spanish Armada vs. The Royal Navy of Elizabeth I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMVORli6lxA An Introduction to the Punic Wars - Ancient Rome vs. Carthage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex0ZtLjsQQg&t — ATTRIBUTIONS — You can find all attribution and credits for images, animations, graphics and music here - https://athena.worldhistory.org/article/MWiOJta1fqb-Forgotten-Royal-Tudors-Images-and-Attributions The music used in this recording is the intellectual copyright of Michael Levy, a prolific composer for the recreated lyres of antiquity, and used with the creator's permission.
