चण्डीगढ़ 15 दिसंबर 2021 दिव्या आज़ाद भारतीय जनता पार्टी के पूर्व मण्डल अध्यक्ष गोपाल बेंजवाल, जो ग्राम दड़वा के पूर्व पंच ने अपने साथियों समेत वार्ड न. 9 के आजाद उम्मीदवार मनप्रीत कौर को पूरा समर्थन देने का ऐलान किया और जनता से अपील की कि अगर वार्ड का विकास कराना है तो पूर्व सरपंच गुरप्रीत सिंह हैप्पी का साथ देना जरूरी है। गोपाल बेंजवाल ने कहा कि भाजपा और कांग्रेस की नीतियों से जनता तंग है, इसलिए अब तो इस बार तो चण्डीगढ़ में आजाद फ्रंट का राज चलेगा जिसका नेतृत्व शशिशंकर तिवारी कर रहें हैं।
