In 1980, Walt Disney Studios and Paramount Pictures built a whole village in the stunning  Mellieha for the set of ‘Popeye’, based on E.C. Segar well-known character and starring the beloved actor/comedian Robin Williams. An entire bay in Mellieha was transformed into The ‘Sweethaven’ Village - the home of Popeye, which still stands today. has become a popular Theme Park and one of the top tourist attractions in Malta. Thanks to Popeye Village Today it’s prime location in the north, you will discover incredible views and be able to swim in this private location after exploring the town!
