Yesterday was a milestone for me. I did something that pre-cancer, I would have been too afraid to do. And for the 1st three years after cancer...I wouldn’t have done it because of my speech impediment. But I asked for a lot of divine intervention from the Universe, and yesterday I gave my very first Art Talk to an entire gallery of beautiful souls.It lifted my soul and gave me so much hope for the future. People always think that eating by mouth is the biggest thing I would miss in my life. But for me, it is my communication with people. I held back my words for too many years because I was too self-conscious and worried about what others would think of me. After cancer....those fears were taken away. Life is too precious not to let others know how we feel. Words are powerful. So I am extremely grateful to the people in the audience who took the time to listen.
