Wyld Family Travel's video: 2 days on a Mekong River cruise with Shompoo Cruises

The Mekong River Cruise was amazing. Amazing scenery slipping and the waters of the Mekong swirled and flowed around us. We went on a 2-day cruise with Shompoo Cruises. We started in the border town of Chiang Kong in Thailand and finished our cruise in Luang Prabang Laos. From the great company to cold beer and tasty food, this cruise on the Mekong relieved in spades. A 320 kilometre trip down the Mekong included 4 stops. We stopped at river village, then overnight in Pakbeng before visiting the Pak Ou Caves and a Lao Whisky Village. There is plenty of room onboard with booths and couches to sit on. There is a bar where you grab a beer, wine or spirits. The food is out of this world. On both days you would get a freshly Cooked buffet lunch, that was amazing. The Mekong and its twists and turns its magic and mystery is the real attraction on the cruise.
