The Excalibur (エクスカリバー) is one of the ultimate Greatswords. It can be found in the Great Crystal rather easily. It is of the Holy element, but can only be equipped by characters that have learned the Excalibur license on the License Board. The Excalibur (エクスカリバー, Ekusukaribā) is a weapon that appears in various games in the series. It is usually one of the most powerful swords, and is usually associated with the Holy element. There is also a cheap imitation called the Excalipur, which Gilgamesh often uses. Got right after making the Tournesol,it is the following greatest weapon to get,by following the story line,if I'm not wrong.. It was easy,the first time I entered the chest zone,there was a chest (only one,I did not knew at first), so I took a deep breath and opened it,only 1 chest and got 22 gil.. I didn't recorded that because I thought is would take me at least 2 hours,so what did I done?I got back to zone of the Waystone (zoning 4 zones) and headed again to get Excalibur,and guess what? 2 chests in zone ((lucky or discovery?..)) It took me about a minute to get the action icon stand still.. (because there were 2 chests) 22 gil on the first one,Excalibur on the second.Easy ha? My map of the Great Crystal is a fresh one,because I lost the one drawn by me,and I don't have the time or patience to explore and draw another..because I have a life you know..
