Xoogle's video: Red XpeK by Xoogle

People need to understand these videos are about the clips. Why don't you ever see a montage of raw clips anymore? Because people have been conditioned to expect an exiting edit along with clips every video now. Its actually gotten to the point in my opinion that people are only watching these videos for the edits. People don't even watch for the clips at all. They just want to see an over edit on every video because thats the only way they are entertained. People have literally forgotten the original concept of COD montages, which were just to share clips they think were original. Edits were only a nice compliment to the clips, something to add a little spice. But now the edit is the whole video for most people. Its no longer about having original clips but having clips that fit the community standard, then getting them sped up so you can only tell what the clip was without actually watching it. On top of this edits now aren't even original either, they're far from it IMO. People actually expect the same sped up syncing nonsense from every edit. I won't conform to the pattern that has been set. I still make edits with the purpose of showcasing the clips. I believe this video shows the clips clearly and doesn't ruin them at all. IMO thats what a good edit is about. And if you don't like the clips the edit can't fix that. Over edits can be fun for contests or personal videos that aren't about showcasing the clips, but not for these types of videos. And clips can be sped up some and changed to a point, but people have to understand there is a line when it becomes an over edit because you can't actually see the clip anymore just flashes of it. All a COD montage needs to be "edited" is someone to line the clips up side by side with no CC, effects, or syncing and render it. This edit had more than that. I consider this my most evolved edit ever. It required developed skills that took me years to reach. It wasn't my most creative or exiting piece of work but easily one of the cleanest and most skill required ones. Hopefully now that you read this you can realize you are being totally ignorant when you call an edit boring. If you don't get me then go away. Thanks for reading.
