XtremeConditions's video: Canon Powershot ELPH 300HS - Super Slow Motion Capture w Camera Info

@Canon Powershot ELPH 300HS - Super Slow Motion Capture (w/ Camera Info)
I made this way more cinematic than it needed to be! :) Music: "To The Ground" by MODIFICA7E. Song and CC License found here http://soundcloud.com/modifica7e/to-the-ground http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ I show regular capture at 1080p at the beginning, then show 120, then finally 240. Watch in 720p for full quality. The capture was in 1080p, but I rendered it in 720p. It still pretty much retains it's quality. You may notice that slow motion recording really degrades quality. Regular 24fps capture can be as follows. By the way, the below info is shown the way it is for a layman, someone new to aspect ratio, etc. It's all annoying stuff when you don't have experience with all this crap :) Regular 24fps capture: - 1080p (1920x1080) 16:9 Widescreen Ratio (fits the modern youtube player. - 720p (1280x720) 16:9 Widescreen Ratio (fits modern youtube player) - 480p (640x480) 4:3 Fullscreen Ratio (Shows black bars on modern player) - 240p (320x240) 4:3 Fullscreen Ratio (Shows black bars on modern player) Super Slow Motion Capture: - 120fps (frames/second) will record 640x480 (480p) which would be 4:3 (black bars) - 240fps (frames/second) will record 320x240 (240p) which would be 4:3 (black bars) You probably seen that my slow motion capture is not in 4:3 ratio, does not show black bars. I edited it in Sony Vegas to be widescreen, however, this requires the video to be more "zoomed in" which will make it seem more pixelated than normal. It also cuts the top and bottom of the original video. If you don't want the black bars, you can use an editing software like Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, etc. I think Windows Live Movie Maker also has a quick widescreen function, but has very little control for editing.
