Sunrise plane spotting at Melbourne Airport during the sunrise period can be difficult however the T4 carpark provides a sensational view of both takeoffs, landing and general ground operations. The Boeing and Airbus aircraft that feature in this video include the B747, A330, B787 Dreamliner, A320 and B737, from a multitude of airlines. Airlines that feature in this particular plane spotting clip include Qantas, United Airlines, AirAsia X, Malaysian Airlines, Royal Brunei, Jetstar Airways and Tiger Airways. It is terrific having the Qantas 747 operate the QF29/30 service to and from Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok. With the 747 slowly being phased out, catching them is a must as their time is definitely limited. It is certainly a bitter sweet situation; exciting to have the first Qantas Boeing 787 Dreamliner delivery knocking on our door step of time. In fact, this week, images of Qantas' first 787, VH-ZNA, appeared online. Delivery to come, this October! This video also includes a RARE daytime Royal Brunei B787 Dreamliner landing. BI53, normally arrives well before the sun comes up so whilst for passengers, the delay would have been quite the pain, for us, it was a blessing.
