YZ MM's video: Navi Mumbai Metro Ticket Prices Revealed Starting from January 2022

The CIDCO is building four elevated corridors to connect Navi Mumbai's public transportation system to various nodes. Line-1, an 11.1-kilometer-long line with 11 stations and a depot at Taloja, was tested in May of this year. While the minimum fare for a journey of up to two kilometres is Rs 10, the fare for a journey of more than ten kilometres is Rs 40 for one side journey. CIDCO Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Dr Sanjay Mukherjee tweeted, "(CIDCO) has decided the fares of the Navi Mumbai Metro line, which will be operated by MahaMetro." After completing trials, the Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1, which runs 5.14 kilometres from Pendhar station to Central Park station, received the Interim Speed certificate from the Research Design and Structured Organization (RDSO). CIDCO, the nodal agency for Metro construction in Navi Mumbai, expects the section of Metro Line 1 between these two stations to be operational by December 2021. Though work on the Navi Mumbai Metro began in 2011, it has been delayed for a variety of reasons, prompting the CIDCO to appoint MahaMetro to expedite the completion of the pending Line-1 works.
