Instagram I'd - https://www.instagram.com/d_naik/ While the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (CMRS) approves line one of phase one of the Navi Mumbai metro for commercial operation, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) is working on a plan to connect Navi Mumbai metro with Mumbai metro in the future. The plan has already been shared with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority by the planning agency (MMRDA). In Navi Mumbai, there are three metro train networks. The first line, Belapur-Taloja-Kalamboli-Mansarover, is now under construction. The proposed Navi Mumbai Airport will be connected to Uran, which includes Panvel and Seawoods, through the second line. At Mankhurd, the third line will connect the airport to Mumbai's Metro line. According to a CIDCO official, the two cities will become one in the future due to their connection. The planning agency has already submitted a proposal to MMRDA to connect the Navi Mumbai Metro to the Mumbai Metro, according to the official. The suggestion, however, may take some time. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) is currently under development, with around 65 percent of the work done. This will assist the MMRDA and the CIDCO in transporting both the Metro rail and suburban routes from Nhava to Sewree. Meanwhile, the MahaMetro and CIDCO have completed a two-day safety testing of line one of phase one between Central Park in Kharghar and Pendhar, and are now awaiting CMRS certification for commercial operation. According to an official, the metro service is expected to begin in the first half of 2022 assuming all goes well. In October, the Research Design and Standard Organization (RDSO) in Lucknow awarded the Navi Mumbai Metro a Speed Certificate for metro line 1 of phase 1. CIDCO had moved to the commissioner of metro railway safety (CMRS) for further clearance after receiving an interim speed certificate from the RDSO. The CMRS will now submit its report to the Railway Board, which would then give the green light to the inaugural Navi Mumbai Metro service based on the study. According to a CIDCO representative, the entire procedure might take anywhere from one to two months.
