On May 2015, the South Asian Autism Awareness Centre (www.saaac.org) launched it's SAAAC Creative Arts program - a visual arts initiative that aims to inspire creativity, enhance cognitive abilities and promote social inclusion for individuals with autism. Led by visual artist, Amir Akbari, students will work towards creating vibrant works of art to change perceptions of autism and raise awareness.
