Hong Kong, one of the best city for adventurous eater. A diverse culture that combine different types of cuisine from all around the world, which make Hong Kong becomes a gourmet eating paradise. In Hong Kong, especially traditional coffee house, you will always need to share table with strangers, they called 搭檯 (Daap Toi) in cantonese, and not all the staffs who serve you are friendly. Sometimes, they are very busy and rushing, so you have to make decision fast and order as soon as possible. Because it is too crowded, you need to eat and leave as soon as you can. Watch what I eat in Hong Kong during day time 1. 金华冰厅 (Kam Wah Cafe) Location: G/F, 47 Bute Street, Prince Edward (MTR-太子站 B2 exit) 菠蘿油 (polo bun) , 酥皮蛋撻 (egg tart) , 餐肉煎蛋出前一丁 (instant noodles with ham & fried egg) , 芝士咖喱猪扒捞丁 , and ice lemon tea Each person has to at least order one drink 2. 發記甜品 (lucky dessert) Location: G/F, 25-27 Soy Street, Mong Kok (MTR-旺角站 E2 exit) 芒果糯米卷 , 榴槤班戟 , 楊枝甘露 , 榴槤飄香 , 糖不甩（汤圆） 3. Roadside ice cream 4. 德记石磨山水豆腐花 Location: 大嶼山昂坪路天壇大佛入口 (Ngong Pin Big Buddha) 黑芝麻 (black sesame dessert) , 豆腐花 (beancurd jelly) 5. Da Dolce Ice cream Location: Ngong Ping Big Buddha 6. 華星冰室 (Capital Café) Location: Shop B1, G/F, Kwong Sang Hong Building, 6 Heard Street, Wan Chai (MTR-灣仔站 A4 exit) 奶茶 , 火腿通粉 (ham and macaroni) , 炒蛋多士 (toast with fried egg) , 奶油豬仔包 (toast with condensed milk on top) , 黑松露炒蛋多士 (toast with Truffle fried egg on top) , 豬扒包 (pork chop bun) , 校長多士 Their fried egg & 校長多士 are the best 👍 7. 一蘭 (Ichiran Ramen) Location: 8 Minden Ave, Tsim Sha Tsui (MTR-Tsim Sha Tsui N4 exit) 一蘭拉麵 you can customize your preference flavor & richness of the soup, and add on your desire side 8. 威尼斯人购物中心 (Venetian Macao Food Court) 大利來記猪扒包 , 酸辣粉 , 顺義 steamed milk 9. 瑪嘉烈 (Cafe e Nata Margaret's) Location: 新馬路馬統領街金利來大廈17B地舖 (G/F, 17A Rua Alm Costa Cabral R/C, Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro) 葡撻 (Portugese Custard Tarts) 10. 蘭芳園 (Lan Fong Yuen) Location: 2 Gage Street, Central (MTR-香港站 C exit) Breakfast set D 薯仔鮮茄火腿通粉 (ham & tomato macaroni) , 絲襪奶茶 (silk stocking milk tea) , 菠蘿包 (polo bun) Compared to 金华冰厅 (Kam Wah Cafe), I would like to prefer 蘭芳園's breakfast 11. 一樂燒鵝 (Yat Lok Restaurant) Location: G/F, 34-38 Stanley Street, Central (MTR-中環站 D2 exit) 燒鵝下裝 (Roast goose drumstick) & 瀨粉 (Lai Fen, Rice Spaghetti) Yat Lok Restaurant is one of the famous restaurant you should try in Hong Kong (recommended restaurant in the 2013 Michelin Guide) 12. 澳洲牛奶公司 (Australia Dairy Company) Location: G/F, 47-49 Parkes Street, Jordan (MTR-佐敦站 C2 exit) 炒蛋多士 (toast with fried egg) , 火腿通粉 (ham and macaroni) , 法蘭西多士 (french toast with butter on top, served with honey) & the best 燉奶 (Steamed milk pudding/Steamed milk custard) The service here is quite bad especially during busy hour, so better go there early in the morning when there is not that many customers yet, & the way they treat you will be better, at least they wont scold you. 13. 一點心 (One Dim Sum) Location: Shop 1 & 2, G/F, Kenwood Mansion, 15 Playing Field Road, Prince Edward (MTR-太子站 A exit) 香滑奶皇包 (Steamed egg custard bun) , 蜜汁叉燒包 (barbecued pork bun) , 精緻馬拉糕 (Cantonese sponge cake) , 古法炸蛋散 , 香煎蘿蔔糕 , 蟹皇蒸燒賣 , 薄皮鮮蝦餃 , 蜜汁叉燒腸 , 鮮蝦腐皮卷 Last day in Hong Kong & we decided to try One Dim Sum. We been told to wait for at least 1 to 2 hours in order to get a table to dine in the restaurant. SO, we decided to take away and eat at roadside. =)
