Michelle tells Harley and Frank the cover story of how Danny and Tony ran to escape from the hitman. However, she's terrified that Danny is in need of immediate medical attention and desperately calls Claire to beg her to come over and help. Claire arrives and bullies her way past Harley and Frank under the pretense of being worried about Michelle and the baby. Upstairs, she finds a critically wounded Danny being tended to by Michelle. Meanwhile, Rick pretending to be Danny buys a bus ticket to Chicago. Rick and Tony go in separate directions and agree to lay low. After Rick and Tony separate, Tony passes out from his gunshot wound. He eventually wakes up to discover that there is an APB out on him. Afraid he'll be found, he wanders into the night. In San Cristobel, Edmund decides to lock Richard in the Tower and deport Cassie. Edmund, aware that the people are protesting his actions, declares a state of martial law. Phillip and Dax conspire to help Cassie escape. Phillip knocks Dax over the head and he and Cassie run and hide out. In the meantime, Edmund invites Beth to sit on the throne and wear the crown and coronation robe with him. Their fun is interrupted when Edmund is informed of what happened to Dax. Edmund orders the guards to find Cassie immediately.
