Young India Fellowship's video: How should one think about the YIF Praveen Khanghta YIF 14 Alum-in-Residence 22- 23

AIR series: Praveen Khanghta | YIF '14 | Associate Director, The Convergence Foundation 📌 The alumni-in-residence programme is a new component of the YIF, where several established and senior alumni will visit campus over the year to engage with and enrich Fellows and the larger Ashoka community. This also serves as a way for the alumni to reconnect with YIF and Ashoka. ✨ Praveen's career experience and interests span across development, education, impact and policy. Fellows got to 'Deep-dive into the Education sector', learn 'How to build a career in the Impact Sector' and understand what it takes 'Building India's most impactful non-profits' through his engaging sessions. 🔹 Praveen leads Strategy, Investment and Portfolio Development at The Convergence Foundation (TCF) - a philanthropic foundation and a system change incubator with an ambitious operating mission of making India a $10 trillion inclusive and sustainable economy by 2035. 🔹 He previously worked in the education sector – with Central Square Foundation. At CSF, he was a grant-maker, a policy researcher, and a consultant to multiple governments on large-scale programs. Praveen was a special advisor to India’s senior-most education bureaucrat, Ministry of Education for a couple of years. 🔹 Praveen is an Acumen, Teach for India and Schmidt Philanthropy Fellow, is a former engineer, and most importantly, from Young India Fellowship Class of 2014. 📌 Become a Fellow | Apply to the YIF Class of 2023-24 at yif.ashoka.edu.in . .
