Animal Planet teams up with The Dodo, the digital media brand for animal content, on DODO HEROES, a series featuring inspiring stories of animals in need from around the world, and the humans who go to unimaginable lengths to give them hope. On the first episode launching this Saturday, June 9th at 9pm, we will follow Derrick Campana who specializes in designing prosthetics and orthotic braces for animals. Derrick will fit Jabu, an elephant in Botswana with a life-threating injury, with the world's first elephant orthotic leg brace in hopes that it will save his life.
