This was my first large scale Christmas Village . I started 2 years ago with a modest 3 buildings. This rolled up to 9 the following year. This I have amassed around 40 and still going. Prep for this project started in the summer building the purpose built unit and carving the legs and tops to create a brick column effect From there I had o create a lot of the landscape using polystyrene and MDF. After painting and detailing I could get adding the buildings and figures. Im very happy with the finished look.
