@How to write personal vows? Should I do a First Look? Wedding Tips
Our website: https://loveiswedding.com/ First congratulations guys on your engagement! I am so happy for you guys! Watch this video until the end to hear some tips about the wedding day timeline and your vows. Hello, my name is Dmitry, and I am the owner of Love Is Wedding. We provide wedding photography and videography services for the past 5 years mostly in Los Angeles and Orange County area. I've studied in the film school for 5 years and had experience working for big brands such as Unilever and Nestle, as well as filming advertisement that was shown in movie theaters. My passion and goal is to make you laugh and cry when you will watch your wedding videos. We are really trying to bring film quality and storytelling skills into the wedding videography. Let me ask you, do you guys want to have a voice-over in your video? Would you like to have your vows and speeches included in the video? If yes, that's great we love to capture audio and using that in the video. This what makes your video more personal and separates it from just the music slideshow type video. If you shy of your voice or don't want everyone to listen to you it's okay. We can capture the reading of letters in private. Or we can skip that at all. You will have a chance to choose a song from the music library. And you decide will it be with the lyrics or just instrumental that works well with voice-over. We have 4-5 different recorders for the wedding day and ceremony we are using lav mic for the groom, lav mic for the officiant, so we can get clear audio from you. 2 others we use to capture audio from the soundboard and ambient sound. We think that DJ and his audio equipment is really important, and we rely on that and all of your guests will be able to hear from you. We had multiple times when there were cheap equipment and audio was breaking up, but we had clear audio because of our recorders Blackmagic cameras, that truly separates us right now. We are trying to bring that film quality into the wedding video space. The color grading is done in DaVinci Resolve so we can get great skin-tones. We can get that smooth skin for getting ready shots and overall to make all of your decoration and details pop. Lighting. We will make your guests blind because of our light power! I am kidding! So we bring our light setup to every wedding. We have a nice big soft-box we sometimes use it during the getting ready if there is no natural light inside.  Some venues might not provide the best spots. Overall we are trying to use natural light, we will move your make-up chair closer to the window, so we can really make you pretty and if the window is not the option we will use our soft-box. The same goes for the reception. We usually use our light for important parts of the evening. We use it for speeches, for the first dance, for the cake cutting, and dim it down when it's not needed. And we try to use it a little for dancing time. I would say first 15-20 minutes. And dim it down so guests can relax and dance without the pressure of cameras. Unless you want to capture each person and each dance move. We would love to know if you guys have anything special or unusual! I don't fly belly dancers, butterflies! Please let us know so we can capture that! Drone. If you have a beautiful venue you might want to have drone shots! We can capture great aerial footage, so we can show the scale of the wedding and where you guys holding a wedding! Check out our videos to see how it looks. But it really depends on the venue and what they allow. We have insurance and if needed can provide that. But not all venues are friendly. Vows. A lot of couples are really trying hard to show love during the ceremony! I know that actually some couples and future brides were especially watching through our videos to get some ideas, jokes, or concepts, so they can incorporate them into their own vows. Try to bring some funny moments from your relationship, try to find moments you are grateful for. And most importantly speak from your heart! As your best man and maid of honor to have a tissue nearby! Here is a quick tip for your timeline. I know some couples prefer to not do it. But we highly recommend doing a first look prior to the ceremony. Here is the thing. First, this moment is truly a joy to capture and include in the film, your emotions will be so real and raw so it's great to see and really feel them again after. Secondly, this opens up an opportunity to capture all pictures before the ceremony. We can do bridal party photos, we can do family photos, and we even can do most of the romantics. And after the ceremony, you can enjoy the party with your guests and friends. But if you will want to keep it traditional and skip the first look. Put enough time after the ceremony, so we can do all those things after.
