@Your Mom The Musical 2: Trailer 2
The Two greatest bands of all time, head to head. One had some of the best lyrics, the other had the greatest concerts. But which one is truly better? Let’s find out. In order to decide this, we need to have a system. I’m going to have 5 categories, and whichever wins the most wins them all. Without further ado, let’s begin! [IMG=A7N] [B]Round 1: Lyrics Queen had some great lyrics during their entire career. In the 80’s, there were more powerful and slightly funny songs. In the 70’s, more emotional. In fact, Queen is actually the only band in history to have each member write a song. But they aren’t close to the Beatles. If you count Ringo, (which I do) then every member is one of the best songwriters ever. Even if you don’t think Ringo is the best, than the other three are still the greatest. Queen has some great lyrics, but there’s a clear winner in this round. [IMG=V1K] [B]Round 2: vocals Queen has almost undoubtedly the greatest singing voice of all time, Freddie. Sure, literally every member of the Beatles has a great voice, again with Ringo as an arguable exception, but Queen has the best singer ever, plus 2 great singers too. It was kinda close, but still an obvious winner. [IMG=A9P] [B]Round 3: Creativity This goes to doing weird things and making them awesome. Queen was great at this stuff. A song the audience can perform, a rock-opera-ballad thingy, whatever Innuendo is, etc.. The Beatles also did a lot of this stuff. The first music video that didn’t just show the band playing, 2 A-Sides on a single, and others that I can’t think of at the moment. This is a very close match, with Queen having creative songs and the Beatles having creative everything else, but I think the Beatles win this one. [IMG=Z5V] [B] Round 4: Concerts The Beatles were great in concert, not really making mistakes or anything, and just playing the songs really. But I don’t need to even compare that to Queen’s stage presence. Freddie strutting, having the audience sing parts, doing a vocal improvisation with them, having them clap, stomp, snap, and other things. There’s no beating Queen on this [IMG=R5S] [B]Round 5: Emotion Queen’s songs deliver a lot of emotion in their songs. During Bohemian Rhapsody you feel sad, Don’t Stop Me Now is scientifically the happiest song ever, you feel really sad during Days of Our Lives. The Beatles also have a lot of emotion. Let it Be is beautiful in every way, Penny Lane and Octopus’ Garden are great feel-good songs, don’t get me started on Hey Jude. This is another close call, but I think The Beatles win on this one. [IMG=R1Q] Overall, The Beatles are at least somewhat better than Queen. Their emotion and musics are what make them so great. Queen is great for their vocals and concerts. You may prefer Queen, but in my opinion the Beatles are the greatest band ever, with Queen as a close second. Thank you for reading, and have a fantastic day!
