Zackthetimelord QuizDoctor's video: Doctor Who Time Vortex attempt in Blender

Relating to something I haven't uploaded in a very long time, here is my take on the Time Vortex visuals seen in the opening or closing credits of Doctor Who. This is based on the 2005-2010/9th and 10th Doctor/Russell T Davies Era The main yellow "Hoop" parts were created as an accident back in 2013 when I was trying to make a DW intro. It was done from illuminating a "Sun", "Spot" and "Lamp" inside a Tube object. When I realized what I have done I couldn't believe that I actually succeeded in making a basic visual of the time vortex. The red swirly part (Which is a distorted noise texture) was taken straight from my new year 2016 animation and pasted in with the hoops. I tried my best to align it and make it as accurate as possible. Finally, the faint stars in the background are made up of a particle system. The initial video file rendered was pasted on to the other video file with the hoops and swirl via chroma keying. Software used: Blender for the vortex elements (made from scratch) Movie Studio 13 Platinum for re-colouring the rendered video and pasting the starfield with chroma keying. I do not own anything copyrighted that may be used or mentioned in this video.
