A Jamaican Actress shares a part of her true life story as a single mother who suffered much oppression from folks who were close to her and used that as a manipulative tool to not only slaughter her reputation within the industry and other social circles but also to keep her within a mental slavery that because some these persons might have helped her in the past gives them the right to control, direct her life and use her former given circumstances where she wrestled the fangs of poverty as a platform to profile her. She has observed and experienced too where the bitterness held against her has been used to blighted her daughter of much opportunities by persons at influential positions who make it their mandate to operate personal as oppose to professional. Yet still she rises above all odds and believes there are many persons who can connect with her story for though the characters might be different it’s the same script. She hopes that this testimony of survival will empower someone still struggling to liberate themselves from the horrors of such experiences.
